Nurse (medical assistant)

We are searching for a qualified registered Nurse to promote and restore patients’ health. He/She will work with a variety of patients and will provide direct nursing care along with physical or psychological support when required.

Main mission:
- To outreach places and persons to identify needs with the social worker if it is necessary and inform and accompany/follow up on access to health.
- Provide health information to improve access to medical services.
- To prepare and conduct health promotion and education sessions with interprofessional MDM team.
- To train and build health skills among MdM and/or partners.

Specific tasks: Under Medical Supervisor: write reports, collect data, analyse and organise medical information about the actions within the Primary Health Centers:

- Grasp international medical standards relating to nursing care and specific follow up of programs in place (SRH, HIV, TB and others), hygiene and antisepsis, vaccination).
- Support staff with trainings according to the needs - individual health and ensure -with the social assistance- that the appropriate care is provided within the public system of Moldova.
- Assess the General health situation of the patients and families: refugees and Moldovan population.
- Provide health education sessions.
- Provide information in a professional and confidential manner.
- Ability to move across the country./

- Work in a team.
- Know how to approach a cultural and social context. Identify and understand a society’s norms, customs, and practices in a flexible way.
- Good Knowledge of English.
