Responsibilities:
• Organizing and controlling purchasing department’s processes
• Analyzing the procurement activities in order to improve them and decrease the expenses.
• Forecasting levels of demand for services and products to meet the business needs and keeping a constant check on stock levels
• Planning, organizing and monitoring all Procurement activities from domestic and international sources
• Managing contracts with vendors of goods and services (from low value items to services)
• Establishing purchasing department procedures and practices, and studying of the workflow, sequence of operations, and office arrangement to improve workflow.
• Performing continuous market review of all the important categories, market prices monitoring
• Stock management, periodically monitoring stock levels, managing the distribution of goods
• Organizing a control system of period of expiration of goods in stock·
• Searching and determining the potential suppliers for bidding. Negotiating with vendors on goods or service information to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality
• Collaborating with governmental institutions and managing custom issues: import and return back processes·
• Reporting on a permanent base about acquisitions and stocks (Preparation of monthly and periodic purchasing reports)
Requirements:
• University degree
• Experience in team management from 3 years and more
• Experience in logistics, procurement, stock management or related area is a must (experience in pharmaceutical or medical companies is an advantage)
• Fundamental knowledge of custom procedures·
• Fluency in Romanian, Russian and English
• Knowledge of MS Office at a very good level (Excel, Power Point, Word, etc)
• Reporting skills and knowledge (is able to present information by different modalities (schemes, tables, presentations), can explain complex issues clearly and understandable)
• Strong analytic, al and problem solving skills
• Proactive personality with leadership skills, aware of business objectives
• Highly motivated and self-organized
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Fundamental knowledge of the medical sector (consumables, equipment, medical related governmental issues) would be an advantage
